ไข่มุกแห่งอันดามัน หรือเกาะภูเก็ต จังหวัดเล็ก ๆ ทางฝั่งทะเลอันดามันภาคใต้ของประเทศไทย เมืองท่องเที่ยวที่มีชื่อเสียงไปทั่วโลก แต่ที่นอกเหนือไปจากความสวยงามทางธรรมชาติ และสเน่ห์ของความเป็นเมืองท่องเที่ยวนั้น ภูเก็ตและจังหวัดชายฝั่งทะเลอันดามันอื่น ๆ ยังมีวัฒนธรรมของชุมชนที่มีรากฐานมาจากภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นในเรื่องของผ้าบาติก ผ้าปาเต๊ะ และผ้าท้องถิ่นอื่น ๆ ที่ควรค่าแก่การอนุรักษ์และต่อยอด
โครงการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ผ้าท้องถิ่นไข่มุกอันดามันสู่สากล โดย มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏภูเก็ต สนับสนุนให้เกิดความร่วมมือกันในการนำองค์ความรู้ภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นอันดามันในเรื่องผ้าบาติกและผ้าท้องถิ่นอื่น ๆ ดั้งเดิมของชุมชน/กลุ่มที่มีความโดดเด่นในจังหวัดภูเก็ต กระบี่ และพังงา ทั้งสิ้น 4 ชุมชน ได้แก่ รักษ์บาติก จังหวัดภูเก็ต ผ้าทอซาโอริ จังหวัดพังงา ผ้าทอทุ่งทะเล จังหวัดกระบี่ และ ไฑบาติก จังหวัดกระบี่ กับ แบรนด์ WISHARAWISH จนเกิดเป็นคอลเลกชั่น WISHARAWISH Presented by PKRU ณ งาน ELLE Fashion Week 2019 นี้
WISHARAWISH รำลึกถึงความรื่นรมย์ทั้งปวงในช่วงเวลาของการพักผ่อนหย่อนใจที่เขาได้รับทุกครั้งที่ได้สัมผัสหาดทะเลอันดามัน วิชระวิชญ์ อัครสันติสุข ใช้คู่สีในการนำเสนอรูปแบบและช่วงเวลาของชีวิตริมหาดที่หมุนวนอยู่กับความงามของพระอาทิตย์ที่กำลังลับขอบฟ้าในขณะที่ท้องฟ้าค่อย ๆ เปลี่ยนสี จากสีแดง ม่วง จนเข้าสู่ความมืดมิด ที่มีเพียงแรงลมและเสียงคลื่นที่ถูกถ่ายทอดผ่าน silhouette ของชุดและเอกลักษณ์ของผืนผ้าที่พลิ้วไหวในทุกก้าวเดิน บรรยากาศของการพักผ่อนถูกจำลองผ่านเทคนิคการตัดเย็บที่ซับซ้อนให้เกิดเป็นรูปทรงที่เรียบง่านแต่กลับทรงพลังในการปลุกเร้าประสาทสัมผัสทั้งหลายของเราให้หวนกลับไปนึกถึงวันของเราบนชายหาด และท้องทะเล

The Pearl of Andaman or Phuket is a small province on the Andaman coast of Southern Thailand is a world-famous destination. However, apart from the natural beauty and touristic charms, Phuket and other provinces on the Andaman coast possess a shared cultural heritage that deserves to be explored -Batik.
The Phuket Rajabhat University, has, therefore, organized, as part of a Phuket local product development project, this creative collaboration between 4 local Batik producers namely; Rak Batik from Phuket, Saori from Phang-nga, Tung Talay from Krabi, and Thai Batik from Krabi, and Thai fashion brand WISHARAWISH that results in this WISHARAWISH Presented by PKRU at ELLE Fashion Week 2019.
WISHARAWISH reminisces all the tranquility, peace, and joy he receives every time he sets foot on the beach of the Andaman sea. Wisharawish Akarasantisook employs colors and color-pairs to represent each period of beach life that seems to always revolve around dusk where the beauty of the setting sun and its skies lies in the changing of colors; from red to purple to blue and to darkness. He goes on to imitate the breeze and the sound of the sea through the use of silhouettes and the natural characteristics of his chosen fabrics that flutter with each step. On and on the designer plays with our sensibilities by employing his masterful techniques to create something so simple in form yet so powerful in reflecting and simulating the ambiences that invoke our longing for those days at the beach and the sea.
